Constructing and installing raised beds

We love gardening and we love to support those who want to garden. This support comes in many ways. One way is through constructing and installing raised beds; another is getting your soil tested and helping you source your amendments and plants.

Unable to maintain a raised-bed garden due to mobility issues? We designed the planter below for a client who just had a spinal fusion and fretted that she couldn’t garden that year. After taking some measurements, we designed and built a couple planters at just the right height so that she didn’t have to bend one inch to plant, maintain and harvest her plants. A little shelf at the side stands exactly even with her palm so that she can rest tools, a watering can, plants and such. She has since recovered from her surgery enough to use her raised beds and hugel mound garden, but she says these planters are still treasured parts of her garden plans.
